The claw
The claw is the most recognizable part of the machine. It normally includes a central body and several metal prongs or fingers. The exact shape, number of prongs, size, and opening can vary by machine.
From the player’s view, the useful fact is simple: the claw is the physical mechanism that descends toward the target. Its appearance does not reveal its current settings, force, success probability, or how it will interact with a particular object.
In Claw Eden’s real-machine format, the claw shown in the live view belongs to a physical cabinet. The phone provides the camera and control interface; it does not turn the claw into a screen-only simulation.
The moving carriage or gantry
The claw hangs from a moving structure near the top of the cabinet. Arcade manuals may call this structure a carriage or gantry depending on the machine.
It carries the claw horizontally before the drop. A camera view may show only part of this assembly, so do not assume that an incomplete view reveals every rail, limit, or home position.
For a player-facing guide, the important distinction is between the part you position and the mechanism that completes the movement. You choose from the controls available on screen; the physical machine then carries out the corresponding sequence.
The play area
The play area is the physical space beneath the claw. It includes the visible platform, objects, dividers, walls, and open areas inside the cabinet.
“Target area” is a useful visual description, not a promise that everything visible is currently available or equally reachable. Arrangement can change, and an old screenshot should not be treated as a live inventory record.
Camera perspective also matters. An object that appears directly beneath the claw from one view may look different from another angle. This guide identifies parts only; it does not draw aim lines or recommend a placement.
The cabinet, glass, and visible boundaries
The cabinet holds the physical mechanism and play area. Glass or clear panels separate the player-facing view from the moving parts and create visible front, side, and rear boundaries.
These boundaries can help you understand the shape of the play area. They cannot give an exact measurement from a single camera frame, and reflections or framing may hide part of the machine.
If the live view is unclear, wait for a stable picture rather than using an old still image as a substitute for the current room.
The prize chute
The prize chute is the opening through which a captured object must pass for the physical catch to reach its machine-level completion point.
For Claw Eden’s confirmed result boundary, touching, lifting, or briefly holding an object is not enough. The prize must enter the prize chute and the play must be recorded as successful.
The camera view
The camera is not a mechanical cabinet part, but it is part of what a remote player uses to understand the machine. It can show the claw, play area, visible boundaries, chute, and machine response.
A live view does not guarantee that every angle is visible or that the apparent depth is exact. It also does not establish current availability, price, probability, or an uninterrupted connection.
Use the current view to observe the physical sequence. Use the recorded result to check how a completed play was credited.
The on-screen controls
The control area is the interface between the player and the remote machine. In a real claw-machine room, the available controls may let the player position and drop the claw.
The controls are not internal machine parts, and their appearance can change with the interface. They should be described by the action they make available, not by an assumed hidden setting.
Once the player drops the claw, the machine completes the mechanical sequence. The player does not directly control each later movement of the claw.
What a visual guide cannot tell you
A photo or live frame cannot establish:
- claw strength or an internal machine setting;
- the probability of a successful result;
- a best position, guaranteed technique, or exact timing;
- current room availability, price, or object arrangement;
- the final recorded result before the play is complete;
